Will I have memory of my hypnosis session?

Most people do have some memories of their session when they emerge from it. It does vary from no memory to full recall depending on the depth of the trance, this is why it is important to record your session - whether it is in person or online.
The facilitator can plant suggestions for recall if there is something that would benefit the client - like anxiety reduction, inspiration, etc.
If the therapist notices the client is too deep or possibly asleep, they can do things to bring them up a little, like interacting with them instead of having a simple guided journey. Bringing them up helps them consciously remember rather than just working with the subconscious.
Working with the subconscious has its merits too, but some applications call to have a lighter state of trance.
There are some (often humorous) references to hypnosis in the Syfy TV show Resident Alien, who has hypnotized the mayor and his wife on numerous occasions - often telling them they will or will not have memory of the session. The show actually overly-implies the power of hypnosis as they are taking some humorous artistic licence with how hypnosis works.
